Bou Assi: National accord can be applied through political mass of Christians

NNA – Social Affairs minister Pierre Bou Assi confirmed Lebanese Forces opposition to extending the parliamentary mandate, adding that the “national accord can`t be implied by the presence of Christian MPs but what is important is the political and popular mass of Christians.”
Minister Bou Assi`s stance came Wednesday in the context of an interview with OTV.
Bou Assi said that the Christians would work hard to achieve an electoral law able to ensure their rights and that they would not let anybody forfeit their rights after the termination of the Syrian custody.
